Vermont Governor James Douglas recently vetoed a bill that would have introduced new campaign donation limits in the state. The Brattleboro Reformer chastises him for turning away from campaign finance reform, and advocates a renewed effort on passing Clean Elections in the state -- better than the public financing program passed in 1997 that has encountered court challenges.
