Darn. A bill to create a full public financing program in the Clean Elections model [0] for statewide and legislative races in Missouri failed a vote [1] in the state Senate today. The bill had been introduced by Sen. Jeff Smith (D) as an amendment to a bill removing campaign contribution limits in the state.
