Montana State Senator Jesse Laslovich (D) is heading up efforts in the state to win full public financing of judicial races [1] to allow candidates to seek State Supreme Court positions without having to seek campaign contributions from groups or individuals who may have business before the court.  North Carolina was the first state to adopt a Clean Elections program for judicial candidates and several other states, like Washington, are considering similar programs.
