Have you ever thought about asking your employer for a matching gift to Public Campaign? More than 1,000 American companies have adopted corporate matching gift plans to help support charitable organizations. Companies match either at the time of the donation or after the donation has been made. So, if you’ve already made a gift to Public Campaign, there may still be time to have your company match your gift. The process for matching gifts varies by company, so you will need to consult your company’s human resources or community relations department for guidelines.

Give Stock

Gifts of stocks, bonds, or mutual funds are an excellent, tax friendly way to support Public Campaign. You can receive a charitable income tax deduction for the full fair market value of the asset, deductible up to 30 percent of your Adjusted Gross Income and, furthermore, avoid any capital gains tax otherwise dues with the sale or transfer of the asset.
