It really p***es me off!!
Why do politicians wimp out and use the phrase "special interests influence" when what they should say is "corruption" as in...
"I think one of the key parts of our work is trying to eliminate special interest influence from our elections at all levels," she said.
This, of course, should read, "I think one of the key parts of our work is trying to eliminate corruption in our elections at all levels".
Which do you think is a more truthful statement?
