The fight for Clean Elections in Iowa is in full swing with about two weeks to go in this legislative session. What follows is an interview with Adam Mason of Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement. It's Voting Time

So we are now towards the end of this exciting campaign for Clean Elections in Maryland. Maryland lawmakers are in the process of voting this week on the bill that would call for public financing of state House and Senate elections. While we have strong support in the legislature, our coalition partners are still working hard to lobby legislators, a few of whom are still on the fence.

A Campaign of People Power

The campaign for winning Clean Elections in Maryland depends on a grassroots organizing effort. It cannot win without the citizens of Maryland taking a stand and getting involved in the effort. It’s about citizens choosing to take responsibility for making a necessary change here in Maryland! So what really goes on in a grassroots campaign?

Phone banking for Clean Elections

Last Monday, volunteers got together at Progressive Maryland’s Silver Spring office to call Maryland residents urging them to contact their Senators in this campaign to win Clean Elections in Maryland. So, what goes on at a phone bank anyway?
