Gov. Cuomo Speaks Out

Submitted by mrober@publicam... on Thu, 12/13/2012 - 15:22

Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-N.Y.) is gearing up for 2013 and is ready to put campaign reform on the agenda. This week he spoke out, telling reporters that he wanted to significantly expand the regulation of political spending.

Additionally, he noted that he would push for Fair Elections-style reform.

“I think it’s very, very important to have a public finance piece in there,” Mr. Cuomo said.

We agree with Gov. Cuomo and hope he continues to be a leader on Fair Elections for New York.
