Event with Nick Nyhart--April 4th in Long Island, NY

On Wednesday, April 4th, Public Campaign President Nick Nyhart will join League of Women Voters President Elisabeth MacNamara and Lisa Tyson, director of the Long Island Progressive Coalition for  "Occupy Democracy: What we can do about money in politics."

Here are the details:
When: Wednesday, April 4th, 2012, 7:30 p.m.
Where: Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Shelter Rock, 48 Shelter Rock Rd, Manhasset NY (Map)

Panelists will talk about our post-Citizens United political system, the influence of the ultra rich on our elections, and what regular people can do to fight for a democracy that's of by and for the people. If you're there in Long Island, I hope you can join us!
