News coverage of new Scott Tipton TV ad

Public Campaign launched a new television ad campaign on Friday highlighting freshman Rep Scott Tipton’s (R-Colo) oil industry money, asking whether he’ll continue to support wasteful industry subsidies.

As the Pueblo Chieftain reported, “The national group, Public Campaign, announced Friday it is paying for two weeks of advertisements on the Western Slope that charge Tipton with taking more than $100,000 in campaign contributions last year from the oil and gas industry. “

The Aspen Times also reported on the ad and highlighted our recent call for Tipton to return money from an energy company that was recently fined as part of an anti-trust lawsuit brought by the Department of Justice.
