On Tuesday, ThinkProgress reported how Rep. Joe Walsh (R-Ill.) flew off the handle and yelled at a constituent that, "Don't blame banks, and don't blame the marketplace for the mess we're in right now! I am tired of hearing that crap!" Perry's other debate mistake
The New York Times is calling this, from last night, a gaffe for Perry: “We have a culture in Washington, D.C., where these corporate lobbyists have these cozy relationships with the people that they’re regulating." Corporate lobbyists TECHNICALLY don't regulate anyone, but maybe he was just being honest about how our system really works.

Great letter from Arizona: "A coalition of young people, immigration-reform activists, businesspeople and Clean Election proponents made our democracy work as it should," and "And if you brush off allegations of taking gifts from lobbyists and sully the reputation of our beloved Fiesta Bowl, your constituents have the tools to relieve you of your duties."
Immigration advocates praise Pearce's defeat
Public Campaign Action Fund's David Donnelly: "Pearce's anti-immigrant positions may have made him into a controversial figure, but it was his love of campaign cash, special-interest perks and opposition to clean elections that led voters to kick him out of the Senate."
Arizona recall: Why Russell Pearce lost
Washington Post on Sen. Russell Pearce's loss: Immigration was a factor in his defeat — in large part because the Mormon Church decided that it should be. But an ethics scandal and under-handed campaign tactics also played a role."

The question is, does this mean they cant raise money for OTHER offices. A state lawmaker running for Congress says, “I’m not sure I’m willing to take a 45-day hiatus from raising money.” #priorities
