• Happy Anniversary, Rep. Joe Barton (R-Texas), from PCAF!

• Not funny. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce president "joked" about getting rid of members of Congress who don't vote their way. Public Campaign Action Fund posted exactly why this is no laughing matter.

• In a post-Citizens United political world, the "wink and nod" between elected officials and special interest lobbyists is out. This PCAF blog post explains why all it takes is a simple threat.

• It's the game, not the players. This PCAF post discusses the mad dash for Wall Street cash and how it is the product of a broken system and not necessarily politicians behaving badly.

• On Tuesday, with a vote on repeal of all or part of the Dodd-Frank financial reform law looming, Public Campaign issued this background memo on the Senators backing repeal and their swath of Wall Street campaign cash.

• Baby steps in New York. With the introduction a bill that would bring public financing for the Comptroller's race in New York, PCAF noted the editorial support for the measure.
