2011 Democracy Matters Summit!

The 10th Annual Democracy Matters Summit was held this past weekend in Albany, N.Y. Over 100 students from 30 different college campuses gathered to engage in three days of lively exchanges, sharing best practices from their fall organizing successes. They brainstormed how to improve both campus outreach and education this coming spring, and planned a coordinated "Week of Action" to fight the corporate takeover of our democracy.The Summit was covered by local media including News 10 and WAMC.Check out a slideshow of photos from the Summit below!
