North Carolina Voter Owned Elections Praised

Democracy North Carolina has released a new report highlighting the success of the state's judicial public financing system. According to the report, 77 percent of those who won seats on the North Carolina Supreme Court and Court of Appeals ran using the Voter Owned Elections program - including all 11 women and three African Americans.A number of news outlets in the state have since come out in praise of the state's public financing system and have highlighted the study.
