Prop 15 is a Worthy Test of Clean Money

Submitted by Monica Rober on Mon, 04/26/2010 - 13:28

The San Francisco Chronicle has become the latest in a string of newspapers to endorse California's Proposition 15, which would establish a pilot program for public financing of campaigns for secretary of state."We recommend passage of Prop. 15."Propositions 14 and 15 address the workings of democracy in California. Prop. 14 would allow the people rather than political parties to choose their leaders. Prop. 15 is a test of a public financing system for state elections. We recommend a yes vote for both to help fix the state's dysfunctional government." Click here to read the full endorsement.
