FEC, which overturned a century of precedent by now allowing corporations to spend unlimited amounts from their treasuries to influence our elections. Rep. Hinchey is a co-sponsor of the Fair Elections Now Act (H.R. 1826), which would allow qualified candidates for Congress the option to run using a public grant and only small donations.
