Why Adonal Foyle is Orlando Magic's Most Important Player

Submitted by Monica Rober on Mon, 03/22/2010 - 16:20

The Orlando Sentinel profiles the NBA's Adonal Foyle - touting his work courtside and his work with Democracy Matters, an organization he started that engages young people in the political process."A man who smiles easily, Foyle stormed off the practice court in late January, uncharacteristically furious. Elizabeth Brett, a Magic intern, asked him what was troubling him. Foyle was upset over a Supreme Court ruling, prohibiting the government from banning political spending by corporations in candidate elections. "It's that passion that has driven him to start two foundations. Democracy Matters seeks to engage young people in the political process."Click here to read the full article.
