The Oshkosh Northwestern calls for public financing of Wisconsin's Supreme Court elections in a new editorial."With millions being raised in court races, the same can be said here in Wisconsin. Public financing takes that out of the equation and puts the public squarely back into the frame of the picture. Imagine that. State Supreme Court justices beholden to the people, not big donors.
