New legislation has been introduced to the North Carolina House of Representatives that seeks to expand the existing Voter Owned Elections program. Sponsored by Rep. Rick Glazier (D-Fayetteville) and 51 other House sponsors, the bill would expand the program to include candidates for attorney general, secretary of state, commissioner of agriculture, state treasurer and labor commissioner.
