Change Congress on Politico

Submitted by Monica Rober on Wed, 03/11/2009 - 16:49

Today on Politico, Joe Trippi and Lawrence Lessig of Change Congress discuss their donor strike and urge the reform of the congressional campaign finance system. "The main vehicle for advancing this goal is the bipartisan Durbin-Specter proposal in the Senate (Larson-Jones in the House), which will be reintroduced this month after garnering significant support in the last Congress. This bill will modernize public funding for the Obama era, allowing small-dollar donations."
