Rob Arnow, who works for Common Cause in California writes on the California Progress Report about his high hopes for the Fair Elections Now Act in Congress, the federal climate to move forward with public financing legislation, and the role he hopes California's Senators and Representatives will play in pushing the bill forward. California may see Clean Elections legislation of its own, as Los Angeles lawmakers look at the possibilities for advancing citywide legislation.
