A survey of Wisconsin legislators shows dissatisfaction with the slow pace of work last year and a renewed commitment this year to policy priorities which include a public financing program for judicial races in the state. Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle (D) called a special session of the legislature in mid-December to take up the proposal but no progress was made.
