New Yorkers, where will you be on September 17th? At a Clean Elections event hosted by the Drum Major Institute of course! Find out more about this free event, hosted at the Harvard Club from 8AM to 10AM, here and be sure to RSVP.The featured speaker at the event, entitled "Getting Special Interest Money Out of State Elections" will be Dennis Burke the former director of Arizona Common Cause who helped passed that state's landmark Clean Elections law. He'll be joined by New York State Senator Liz Krueger, National Action Network Charlie King, and Jessica Wisneski the Clean Money, Clean Elections Coordinator for Citizen Action New York.
