Excellent news. It looks like New Jersey will definitely see another round of its Clean Elections pilot program after great success this year in the three districts that participated. Fifteen of the twenty eligible candidates are running Clean and the state is that much closer to a full-fledged program that will offer the opportunity to run with public financing to candidates statewide.With passionate supporters in the state legislature, and a Governor very much in favor of the project the pilot program has received a lot of press attention and good feedback from participating candidates which bode well for extending the opportunity to more candidates next time around.
