Iowa has recently emerged as a promising contender to join the ranks of Clean Elections states, with legisation in both the state House and Senate going through the committee approval process. Among those supported VOICE (Voter-Owned Iowa Clean Elections) legislations are Tim Urban, a developer and former city councilman. Read his argument in favor of VOICE here. Urban is no stranger to the world of campaign fundraising, having given his share of donations: As one who has made substantial contributions to state candidates over the years, I am eager to see the system change.
