The Daily Record in Morris County, New Jersey says that while the Clean Elections pilot project up for expansion in the state may not solve every money in politics woe, it's well worth a try -- and they want districts in the county to take part.   They think the new fundraising requirements will work to keep "joke" candidates at bay, and hope public financing will get candidates away from fundraising calls long enough to focus on real issues.
