Sen. Obama Expresses Support for Publicly Financed Elections

Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) was on NPR's All Things Considered yesterday promoting his new book. In his interview, Sen. Obama talked about the problem with money in politics and his desire that elections be publicly financed.

My wife and support Senator Obama's idea of publicly financing our elections. Clean elections, we see, is the way for the individuals to get back representation in government. Thank you Senator! Can we get this initiative on the ballot in our great state of Illinois and in the Federal Government?
