In light of last week's news on New Jersey's public financing pilot project, neighboring Pennsylvania encourages the state to not only continue the project, but expand it to include primaries and try it out in more districts. Citing the successful systems in Maine and Arizona, along with Connecticut's recent passage of Clean Elections, the editorial calls on New Jersey to take the recommendations of the Citizens' Clean Elections Commission to improve the previous pilot effort, saying "This experiment can work."
