More Support for Clean Elections in New Jersey

Echoing several recent editorials across the state, the The Press of Atlantic City is calling for an expansion of New Jersey's Clean Elections pilot project, in line with the recent findings of the state's Clean Elections Commission.
The editorial cites in particular Atlantic City Assemblyman Frank Blee's support for clean elections following his recent bid for reelection last year. That campaign saw spending in excess of $4 million, and the editorial argues that "[t]hat election and the obscene amounts of money poured into it underscore why such legislation is so badly needed."
