    Support for Fair Elections reform in New York State continues to grow, according to a Wall Street Journal poll released this morning. By a nearly two-to-one margin, 61 percent of voters support a small donor driven system of public financing in the state, with only 33 percent in opposition.

    Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-N.Y.) will be in New York City today to speak at a CED event on, "The Role of Money in Politics in New York State: Promoting Small Dollar Democracy." If you're in the city, check it out! On Monday, he'll do a tele-townhall with grassroots activists on the campaign to pass Fair Elections.

    Yesterday, the Hawaii House of Representatives passed legislation to establish a Fair Elections-type system for state legislators on a vote of 48-3. It now heads to the House. Public Campaign's field director is currently on the ground in Hawaii working with state advocates.

    Yesterday, the NRSC launched a new website blasting President Obama for OFA and "selling access" to the White House. If Republicans are upset about OFA and special interest influence, they should probably offer up policy solutions to address their concerns, we say.
