Literally.We are asking all Clean Elections supporters around the country who plan to make a political contribution this year to add 2¢ to their contribution to signal their support for Clean Elections-style public financing of campaigns. That extra .02 is sure to catch the eye of the campaign staff and we'll be working to make sure candidates know what that 2¢ symbolizes. Whether you plan to make your contribution online, by mail, or over the phone you can participate by adding that .02. And if the contribution form you use has room for comments be sure to explain that this 2¢ signals support for Clean Elections policy.
